MyStudio is looking for a talented Front-End Mobile Developer to join our engineering team. This role is remote, and will be working closely with teams based in Northern Virginia, Eastern Europe, and India.  Our team operates between 8am-5pm EST, and we ask for as much overlap and availability during this window as possible to facilitate collaboration.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about modern mobile development, cloud-based solutions, and delivering high-quality user experiences. You will play a key role in migrating our legacy application to React and the cloud while collaborating with an international team.

• Develop, optimize, and maintain mobile front-end applications using React (React Native preferred).
• Work closely with backend developers, product teams, and designers to translate requirements into efficient technical solutions.
• Help modernize and migrate our existing legacy application to a cloud-based architecture.
• Collaborate with a distributed team, including developers in India, ensuring smooth integration and development workflows.
• Ensure high performance and responsiveness of mobile applications across different devices and platforms.
• Maintain clean, modular, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in mobile development and cloud technologies.

• 5+ years of front-end development experience, with a strong emphasis on React or React Native.
• Experience developing mobile applications and optimizing performance for mobile devices.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Familiarity with state management libraries (Redux, Context API, etc.)
• Strong experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating front-end applications with backend services.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar) and cloud-based architecture.
• Experience working in an Agile environment with remote teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently while collaborating across time zones.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and fostering strong working relationships.
• Thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments where adaptability is key; tackles challenges head-on with a proactive mindset, continuously seeking innovative solutions while remaining focused on achieving both short-term and long-term goals.

• Experience with React Native for mobile app development.
• Experience with Apache Cordova.
• Knowledge of backend technologies (Node.js, Firebase, AWS Lambda, etc.) is a plus.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines for mobile deployments.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Git-based workflows.
• Prior experience working with international or offshore development teams.
